Amendment No. 2 to the Storage Code ​version 001 – effective from January 29, 2025 at 06:00 am

Gas Storage Poland sp. z o. o. (“GSP”) informs that by the decision DRR.WRG.4326.1.2025.IWa of January 24, 2025 the President of the Energy Regulatory Office (the “ERO President”) amended decision of October 17, 2023 ref. no. DRR.WRG.748.3.2022.IWa (as amended) in the scope of Amendment No. 2 to the Storage Code version 001 (“Amendment No. 2 to the Storage Code”). In the issued decision, the ERO President specified the entry into force of Amendment No. 2 to the Storage Code on January 29, 2025 at 06:00 am.

Amendment No. 1 to the Storage Code ​version 001 – effective from September 6, 2024 at 06:00 am

Gas Storage Poland sp. z o. o. (“GSP”) informs that by the decision DRR.WRG.4326.1.2024.IWa of September 5, 2024 the President of the Energy Regulatory Office (the “ERO President”) amended decision DRR.WRG.748.3.2022.IWa of October 17, 2023 in the scope of Amendment No. 1 to the Storage Code version 001 (“Amendment No. 1 to the Storage Code”). In the issued decision, the ERO President specified the entry into force of Amendment No. 1 to the Storage Code on September 6, 2024 at 06:00.

GTC effective from 6.11.2023

In connection with the decision of the President of the Energy Regulatory Office of October 17, 2023, ref. no.: DRR.WRG.748.3.2022.IWa approving the Storage Code version 001 (“Storage Code”), the General Terms and Conditions for Storage Services Agreement version 001 (“GTC “) becomes binding on the date of entry into force of the Storage code, i.e. on November 6, 2023 at 06:00.

The Storage Code together with GTC shall replace the Storage Service Rules of 1 April 2022 version 004, as amended, becoming an integral part of the existing Storage Service Agreements (“SSA”).

The GTC set out, among other things, the following:

• rules for the assessment by the SSO of the Applicant’s creditworthiness and the questions concerning the establishment of a financial security;
• billing and invoicing rules;
• grounds for the termination or expiry of the SSA;
• rules concerning the withdrawal of Gaseous Fuel in case of termination or expiry of the SSA;
• confidentiality and protection of personal data;
• procedure for amending the GTC.

In contractual relations with the Storage Customer, the Storage Code and GTC jointly shall replace existing Storage Service Rules.

Storage version 001 Code effective from 6.11.2023

Gas Storage Poland sp. z o.o.  informs that by decision of the President of Energy Regulatory Office (“President of ERO”) of October 17, 2023, ref. no.: DRR.WRG.748.3.2022.IWa, the Storage Code version 001 was approved. 

In the above-mentioned decision, the President of ERO set the date of entry into force of the Storage Code as November 6, 2023 at 06:00.

Amendment No. 2 to the Storage Code ​version 001 submitted for approval by the President of the ERO – 10.01.2025

Gas Storage Poland sp. z o. o. announces that the Amendment No. 2 to the Storage Code version 001 has been developed following the consultations conducted in the period between November 20, 2024 and December 20, 2024. Amendment No. 2 to the Storage Code version 001 was submitted for approval to the President of the ERO on January 10, 2025.

Amendment No. 1 to the Storage Code version 001 was submitted for approval to the President of the ERO on August 27, 2024.

Storage Code​ submitted for approval after consultations – 1.04.2022

Gas Storage Poland sp. z o. o. (“GSP”) announces that due to performance of the obligations introduced under the Energy Law Act of 20 May 2021 amending the Energy Law and certain other acts (Dz.U.2021.1093, “Energy Law Amendment”), which entered into force on 3 July 2021, the consolidated text of the Storage Code (version 001) of 31 March 2022 has been approved following the consultations conducted in the period between 21 January 2022 and 21 February 2022 (“Storage Code version 001”) included also  Amendment No. 1 to the Storage Service Rules (version 003) of 10 December 2020 consulted in the period between 23 February 2022 and 23 March 2022.

GSP submitted an application to the President of the Energy Regulatory Office (“the President of the ERO”) for approval of Storage Code version 001 by means of a decision, together with information on the comments submitted by system users and the manner of their consideration.
